Refund and Cancellation Policy
Courteous Signing Notary Services, LLC
Last updated September 15, 2026
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the rules that apply to purchases of Courteous Vault plans and payments for notary and document-signing services. By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges the applicable terms below. Nothing in this policy limits any right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.
Courteous Vault Digital Service
Courteous Vault is a digital account and onboarding service powered by My Life & Wishes. Account preparation may begin promptly after payment, including creation of the customer’s vault and preparation or delivery of login credentials.
No Refunds After Setup or Access Begins
Except as required by law or stated below, Courteous Vault purchases are final and nonrefundable once account setup, account activation, delivery of login credentials, or access to the digital service has begun. A customer’s failure to log in, upload documents, or use the available features does not create a right to a refund after access has been provided.
Annual Plan
The Annual Plan costs $129 per year and automatically renews annually when recurring billing has been authorized at checkout. The customer may cancel future renewals at any time before the next renewal is processed by using the cancellation options provided by the payment processor or by contacting Courteous Signing Notary Services, LLC for assistance. Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not produce a full or prorated refund for the current paid term. Access remains available through the end of the paid term, subject to the Terms and Conditions.
Lifetime Plan
The Lifetime Plan costs $495 as a one-time payment and does not have an annual renewal fee. Except as required by law or stated below, the payment is final and nonrefundable after setup, activation, credential delivery, or access begins. “Lifetime” describes access under the purchased plan and remains subject to the Terms and Conditions, including service availability and any transition or continuation arrangements with the platform provider.
Billing or Delivery Problems
A customer should contact us promptly if the customer believes a charge was duplicated or unauthorized, the wrong plan was purchased, the paid service was not delivered, or a technical problem prevents access. We will review the account and transaction. When verified, we may correct the charge, provide the purchased service, or issue a refund or credit as required by law or appropriate to the circumstances. This exception does not guarantee a refund merely because the customer changed their mind.
Notary and Document Signing Services
Completed Services
Fees for notarizations, travel already performed, completed appointments, document-signing services, printing, courier work, witness coordination, and other services already provided are nonrefundable, except when a refund is required by law or when we determine that a billing error occurred.
Cancellations Before an Appointment
A customer who needs to cancel or reschedule should contact us as soon as possible. Any cancellation fee, travel fee, printing fee, witness fee, deposit, or other nonrefundable amount will be disclosed before the customer is charged or when the appointment is confirmed. If no work has begun and no nonrefundable cost has been incurred, we will review any prepaid amount and determine whether a refund is due.
Unable to Complete a Notarization
A notarization may be declined or stopped when legal requirements cannot be satisfied, including identity, willingness, awareness, document-completeness, or witness requirements. Travel, printing, waiting-time, witness, or other fees already earned or incurred may remain payable if they were disclosed to the customer. No notarization fee will be charged for a notarization that is not performed.
How to Request Assistance

Mail: Courteous Signing Notary Services, LLC, P.O. Box 15043, Mesa, AZ 85211
Please include the purchaser’s name, purchase email address, transaction date, plan or service purchased, transaction or receipt number if available, and a brief explanation of the issue. Do not send passwords, complete payment-card numbers, or sensitive vault documents.
Payment Disputes
Please contact us first so we can investigate and attempt to resolve the issue. Customers retain any dispute rights available through their payment provider or applicable law. Submitting a knowingly false payment dispute may result in suspension of access while the transaction is reviewed.
